Engineering Manager

General Description:

MTG is seeking a engineering manager to oversee the day to day activities of the MTG engineering department.  Candidates should have a broad understanding of shipbuilding across all disciplines of engineering.   

General Duties:

Duties include the development of engineering deliverables and the management of the engineering staff.  

Minimum Requirements

• US Citizen with or ability to obtain a US security clearance

• Bachelor of science in engineering 

• 10+ years of experience working with shipyards on US Government programs

• Experience managing a team of at least 5 engineers 

• Ability to articulate technical issues and present them to senior managers 

• A PE or an advanced degree in engineering, business or other related field a plus

• Experience with customer relationship management, business development and program management a plus

• Expectation for remote work up to 75% of the time with occasional travel to shipyards in the US
