DESIGNER- All Levels/Disciplines

General Description:

MTG is seeking Designers from all disciplines across all experience categories with a history of supporting shipyards and on US Government shipbuilding programs.   

General Duties:

Develop DESIGN Specs/Drawings and other technical products in support of our customer's shipbuilding programs.  

Minimum Requirements

• US Citizen with or ability to obtain a US security clearance

• Bachelor DEGREE

• 0-5  years of experience working with shipyards on US Government programs (DESIGNER I)

• 5+ years of experience working with shipyards on US Government programs (DESIGNER II)

• 10+ Years of experience working with shipyards on US Government programs (SR DESIGNER)

• DEEP understanding of design software such as SSI, AUTOCAD 3D, and any other ship design SW

• Experience with customer relationship management, business development and program management a plus for senior level positions

• Entry level applicants will be considered if they have undergrad industry experience.

• Ability to travel to shipyards and Hampton Roads area occasionally a plus
